The 1001 International Documentary Film Festival returned to Istanbul after a long pause. I attended the festival as press and recorded a series of short video interviews with filmmakers and guests.
I spoke with Fabian Volti about Abel, Zlatko Pranjic about The Sky Above Zenica, and Laurence Lévesque about Okurimono. Each shared a brief insight into their work during the festival.
I also had a short conversation with Esin Özalp Öztürk, the International Program Coordinator, about the plans for the next edition. Special thanks to İdil Alakuş for the warm support throughout the event.
