Third Edition of Oman’s International Women and Child Film Festival Opens for Submissions
Muscat, 15–18 December 2025 | Submissions Open Until 20 November 2025
A new call has just opened in Muscat. The third International Women and Child Film Festival invites filmmakers to share stories about women and children, stories that carry empathy, truth, and courage.
This festival, organized by the Oman Film Society, has grown into one of the few platforms in the region that gives voice to human stories often left behind. Films can be between 2 and 20 minutes, made in 2024 or 2025, and should reflect human values through their story or characters.
Submissions are open to all languages. English subtitles are required, and Arabic subtitles are needed for non-Arabic works. The final version must be uploaded online in MOV or MP4 (1080/1920p) format, ready for viewing.
The selected films will become part of the festival’s archive, a growing collection of voices exploring the lives of women and children through art. For many independent filmmakers, this event is a chance to connect, to be seen, and to show that small stories can move audiences far beyond borders.
Deadline for submissions: 20 November 2025
Festival dates: 15–18 December 2025
